SDS Bulldog Rotary Hammer Drill

 

• D-handle bulldog hammer drill: This tool has a overall length of 49cm. The design moved from a squat drill to an elongated reciprocating saw style body.

 

Which gets your support hand further down the tool for a more stable grip.

 

 

• 4-operation-mode: from Rotary-only drilling mode, Hammer drill mode to Chiseling mode, and Chiseling positioning .

 

 

• Variable speed trigger: Heavy press fast, light press slow.

Select an Operating Mode

 

♦ Depress the mode selector release button on function switch.

 

♦ Rotate the mode selector dial so that the arrow points to the symbol corresponding for the desired mode.

 

                                                   

 

 

The arrow on the mode selector dial  must be pointing at a mode symbol at all times. There are no operable positions in between.

 

It may be necessary to briefly run the motor after having changed from 'Hammering Only' to 'Rotary' modes in order to align the gears.

Do not press the function selector switch until the appliance has come to a complete standstill.

 

Switching between functions while the tool is still rotating can damage the appliance.

 

 

 

 

Additional handle 

 

For safety reasons, you should never use this appliance without the additional handle attached.

 

• Remove the additional handle by turning it in a clockwise direction .

 

• Turn the additional handle to the desired position.

 

• Fix the additional handle in the new position by turning it anticlockwise.

 

 

 

 

Mechanical Clutch

 

All our SDS-Plus bulldog hammer drill are equipped with a torque limiting clutch that reduces the maximum torque reaction

 

transmitted to the operator in case of jamming of a drill bit. This feature also prevents the gearing and electric motor from stalling.

 

The torque limiting clutch has been factory-set and cannot be adjusted.

Q: Does this SDS-Plus bulldog hammer drill needs grease?

 

A: The simple fact is that it doesn't need periodic lubrication for the casual user. It would be different if you were a professional drilling dozens of holes every day.

 

If you like, dab a little common grease in the chuck on occasion. There's a lot of slop (movement) in that type of chuck, and friction can heat things up if it's totally dry.

 

 

 

Q:How to install the drill bits to the SDS-Plus D-Handle Rotary Hammer

 

A: 1) Pressing the locking sleeve of the chuck downward.

 

    2)Insert the SDS-plus shank bit into the chuck,make sure you’ve heard the click.

 

    3) Release the locking sleeve. The drill bit will be firmly holded.
